Does Get Healthy Medicine accept insurance?

Yes. We accept most major insurance plans, Medicare, and TRICARE. For patients without in-network coverage, we offer a self-pay option of $219 for the initial visit and $99 for follow-ups, plus CareCredit financing.

Who qualifies for GLP-1 therapy like Wegovy or Zepbound?

FDA criteria allow GLP-1 therapy for patients with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, or obstructive sleep apnea. We see patients age 12 and older.

Do you offer telehealth?

Yes. We see patients in person at our Lake Nona clinic and via secure video or audio telehealth for anyone located anywhere in Florida.

How it works

1. Introductory appointment

In this visit, we’ll discuss the challenges you may have faced with weight loss and what solutions may work for you, including lifestyle changes to achieve sustainable change. We see adults and children 12+.
This visit includes discussing FDA-approved weight-loss medications and which may be right for you.
Patients paying with insurance will pay only their co-pay/deductibles only. For those not using insurance, introductory visits are $299.
2. Prescriptions

At the conclusion of your visit, we’ll send in a prescription for a GLP-1 medication, if applicable, so you can get started right away and give guidance on injections, care and timing.
Get Healthy Medicine will work with your insurance to get your medications covered. If they’re not, we can prescribe a compounded version of a GLP-1.
We take care of any paperwork and insurance back-and-forth so you don’t have to.
3. Ongoing care & support

Recommended to meet every four-six weeks to discuss your progress making changes to your nutrition, physical activity and behaviors. We’ll also monitor for any side effects and adjust dosage every 4 weeks as indicated by the FDA (if needed).
You’ll have access to on-demand provider messaging and guidance on what to expect on your journey, every step of the way.
Patients paying with insurance will pay only their co-pay/deductibles only. For those not using insurance, follow-ups are $129.
