Get the right treatment for you
How it works
-
1. Introductory appointment
In this visit, we’ll discuss the challenges you may have faced with weight loss and what solutions may work for you, including lifestyle modifications that will help you achieve sustainable change.
This visit includes discussing FDA-approved weight-loss medications and which may be right for you.
Patients paying with insurance will pay only their specialist co-pay. For those not using insurance, introductory visits are $199.
-
2. Prescriptions (if applicable)
At the conclusion of your visit, we’ll send in a prescription for a GLP-1 medication, if applicable, so you can get started right away and give guidance on injections, care and timing.
Get Healthy Medicine will work with your insurance to get your medications covered. If they’re not, we can prescribe a generic version of a GLP-1.
We take care of any paperwork and insurance back-and-forth so you don’t have to.
-
3. Ongoing care and support
We’ll meet again every four weeks to discuss your progress making changes to your nutrition, physical activity and behaviors. We’ll also monitor for any medication side effects and adjust dosage as needed.
You’ll have access to on-demand provider messaging and expert guidance on what to expect on your journey.
Patients paying with insurance will pay only their specialist co-pay. For those not using insurance, follow-up visits are $79.
Accepted insurance
If we take your insurance, you do not need to worry about the cost of the visit — it will be only your specialist co-pay.
If you’re not using insurance, the cost is $199 for an introductory visit and $79 for follow-ups visits. Medication cost is separate.

Do I qualify for a GLP-1 medication?
To qualify for weight loss medications, patients need a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher with at least one weight-related health condition.
If your BMI is lower, remember: Medications are just one part of weight loss. Weight can still be lost without medications through changes to your nutrition, physical activity and behaviors.
